Manners & Rally Classes
Puppy Manners
(ages 10 weeks to 5 months)
Supports both puppy and owner during this extremely sensitive, and sometimes trying, time period and includes the basic behaviors of come, walking on a loose leash, sit, down and stay; and also integrates games and other activities to build confidence in the young puppy and enthusiasm for future learning. This class is available to puppies between the ages of 10 weeks to 5 months.

Adult Manners
(ages 5 months & older)
Focuses on the behaviors of walking on a loose leash, sit, down, come and stay; as well as more complex behaviors such as wait, leave it, settle and a moving down. This is the ideal class for the family dog, first–time dog owner or seasoned trainer; and a "must" for providing the opportunity to accustom your dog to responding to your signals with mild distractions. Adult Manners is a great follow-up to Puppy Manners, or a stand-alone class for dogs over the age of 20 weeks.

Intermediate Manners & Intro to Rally
A FOCUS class, emphasizing all the behaviors that contribute toward making your dog a truly enjoyable companion -- in the home, and out and about. Teach your dog polite greetings, waiting at doors, walking past other dogs, being attentive to you, and other daily skills that your dog should have so that you can enjoy your time together. Find solutions to problems you may be experiencing. Improve your relationship.
This class also introduces you and your dog to the FUN sport of Rally! Whether you just train or decide to compete, Rally develops better teamwork between you and your dog. Just as importantly, it will sharpen your dog’s obedience skills and behavior – at home and in public.​
Like all our classes, this class is taught in a fun, motivational way.

Competition Rally
You and your dog are a team. You do almost everything together – take walks, eat, veg out, even sleep together. So think of the fun you’d have learning how to be a great Rally Team at Spot On!

Intro to Agility
Intro to Agility is a foundation class offering an entertaining introduction to agility in a pressure-free and non-competitive environment. Along the way, you and your dog will increase your capability to communicate and learn valuable skills that will help you both on and off the course. It’s a great way to have fun while improving your dog's obedience, focus and confidence. So bring your sense of humor and a pocket full of treats to our Intro to Agility class!

Intermediate Agility
Intermediate Agility continues the fun game of agility! This class is for dogs that have completed Intro to Agility and are comfortable on all the obstacles (okay if you are still working on weaves and teeter). We will continue building confidence on the obstacles and sequencing them together into courses. We will work on handling for running with your dog through courses; practicing skills such as front crosses, rear crosses, blind crosses, when/how to indicate deceleration or acceleration on course and the art of course walking for success!​

Competition Agility is for currently competing students. (Students will need instructor approval before registering.) Classes are planned for competitive Agility students with an emphasis on advanced coursework and handling. We'll focus on improving your communication on course with your dog. Competition Agility is designed to hone your skills to handle challenging competition courses and bring home more Qs!

SpeedWay
Start your Engines…
SpeedWay is the latest, highly popular, event offered by Canine Performance Events! It provides dogs and their humans another opportunity to play in a fun, competitive environment. SpeedWay offers both individual and team classes at trials. Just like with Agility, you can learn and have tons of fun together with your dog in class. Then choose either to compete in SpeedWay trials, or never step foot in the competition ring if that isn't your thing.

Rats!
Happy Ratters Workshops
Charcoal, Blaze & Susan (The Spot On Rat Pack) invite your dog to join them for a fun game of hide and seek!
This will be an ongoing weekly drop-in class for your dog to practice using their nose to search through an “urban alley" of (clean) trash* to find rats! (Who are safely hanging out with a snack inside their heavy-duty PVC tube dens)
*trash bags, boxes, barrels and other items possibly found in a city alley

Foundation Tracking
Foundation Tracking covers what you need to know to get started in tracking! The dog will be introduced to beginning tracks, with an emphasis on developing an independent tracking dog.​

This class is for dogs new to tracking or dogs repeating foundation training. We will start from the beginning and proceed in a methodical step-by-step manner using up-to-date proven methods.

Unleashed
Control Unleashed (CU)
Control Unleashed uses skills from Leslie McDevitt's Control Unleashed program and is for any dog who has the basics down and would like to learn skills for the real world. These skills can help with recall, leash pulling, and other basics. No prerequisites required.
